"Hey Babes we are ok just lost everything. Love you always. It is rough. Dominica is no longer Dominica" - Point Michelle

"Everyone is safe and okay. The house in Shawford is safe but in Newtown there is no roof and lots of water inside. We have no phone signal at home. Lots of Love!" - Shawford

"Bad. Very bad. Barely Alive" - Roseau

"I was in tears several times today. What has happened there is not describable in words. Yes I drank a few upon return but this is not me crying in my beer. We started logs when leaving Antigua. How many logs can possible be washed into sea? Guadeloupe appears untouched. Came between Saints and Marie Galante so never saw them close. But every inch of Dominica is devastated. Lush green trees covering jungle are replaced with bare stumps. About 1/2 standing and 1/2 broken on the ground. We went to the house 2x. First time without wallets, watches or phones because its too dangerous...Never saw any sign of that" - External supply bringer from Antigua

"We good. We just pray for safety. Things can be replaced but loss of life is what we dont wanna hear" - Roseau
